The Man Who Kept A Patriot’s Promise

Meet Senior Master Sergeant, USAF Ret., Israel "DT" Del Toro, Jr., the man who made, and kept, A Patriot's Promise.

"DT" is truly an intriguing man. A special warfare operator who at the age of 12 committed for life to a promise his dying dad asked him to make. That was to take care of his family when his dad was gone. Holding fast to that promise kept him alive when in 2005 his Humvee rolled over an IED. Engulfed in flame from head to toe, he fought. To live. To protect his brothers in arms. And to make it back home to his family.
